About Us

AMARU Group takes its name from Tupac Amaru, the last Emperor of the Neo-Inca state, which translates to "The Lightning Serpent" in Quechua. This deity, revered in many ancient cultures and civilizations, is credited with blending its DNA with early Earth inhabitants, imparting profound knowledge across various fields such as astronomy, medicine, and agriculture.

Inspired by this rich heritage, AMARU merges Japanese materials and techniques with influences from Scandinavian and Meso American designs. In the Shintō religion, Tupac Amaru is embodied as "Raijū The Thunder Beast" and "Raijin the God Of Lightning," reflecting the dynamic and powerful essence of our creations.

AMARU Group knives are not only exquisite works of art but also reliable tools. Crafted with premium Japanese precision and the finest materials, these knives are built to be both functional and beautiful, seamlessly blending the resilience and elegance of their namesake.
